Services Terms + Conditions
Agreement Overview
This agreement is between Pedal Set Go and you, the Trainee, covering all training, bicycle skills sessions, led rides, and other bicycle-related activities provided by us.
Bicycle Responsibility
It is your responsibility to ensure your bicycle is roadworthy and legally compliant unless a bicycle is provided by Pedal Set Go.
Our instructors reserve the right to refuse training if your bicycle is deemed unsafe or hazardous. Their decision is final.
No refunds will be given for sessions forfeited due to an unroadworthy or unsafe bicycle.
Instructors are not obligated to repair your bicycle.
Trainee Conduct and Safety
Training may be discontinued at any instructor’s discretion due to disruptive behaviour or safety concerns.
Pedal Set Go is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages occurring before, during, or after training sessions.
Proficiency in bicycling requires practice beyond a single lesson.
A helmet that complies with the Consumer Goods (Bicycle Helmets) Safety Standard 2024 must be worn during lessons.
You are responsible for any injury resulting from improper helmet use.
Please inform your instructor of any medical conditions that may affect training.
Instructors may make necessary adjustments to your or your child’s bicycle for safety and learning purposes.
Personal Information and Communication
Pedal Set Go collects personal data (e.g., name, contact details, learner needs) for training purposes.
Your information may be shared with funding local councils or community organisations, who may contact you for feedback.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
You may receive newsletters or training-related communications. You can opt out at any time.
Weather, Clothing, and Consent
Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
A waiver and acknowledgment of risk must be signed before training begins. Sessions cannot proceed without this agreement.
Pedal Set Go may adjust session times or reschedule due to extreme weather without penalty.
Payments, Cancellations & Rescheduling
Full payment is due within 48 hours of online booking or before the first session, whichever comes first.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice or non-attendance will forfeit 100% of the session fee.
At our discretion, we may offer to reschedule a forfeited session. In such cases, an admin/rebooking fee of up to $95 may apply to cover instructor time, booking admin, and opportunity costs.
Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice may be rescheduled without charge, subject to availability.
A $95 admin fee may also apply to refunds (outside of cancellation forfeits), to cover administrative costs.
Gift Certificates
Purchased gift certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of issue, as per Australian Consumer Law.
Promotional or complimentary vouchers may carry shorter expiry periods, clearly stated at the time of issue.
Gift certificates are redeemable for the value paid, not necessarily a specific service. If prices increase before the certificate is used, the recipient may be required to pay the difference in price.
Late cancellation or no-show of a gift certificate booking will void the certificate, unless a reschedule is offered at Pedal Set Go’s discretion (in which case a rebooking fee may apply).
Running Late
If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible.
Instructors may not be able to extend the session beyond the original finish time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, your session may be cancelled without refund.
