Bicycle Education in Sydney — For Everybody

Pedal Set Go provides practical, inclusive bike education for individuals, councils, schools, workplaces and communities across Sydney.

Whether you’re learning to ride, returning after a break, building confidence for everyday transport, getting used to an e-bike, or planning an active transport program, we focus on the skills, knowledge and confidence people need in real riding environments.

What You’ll Gain

For individual riders, that might mean greater control, confidence, practical knowledge and independence.

For organisations, it means programs designed around meaningful outcomes - safer riding, greater rider capability, stronger community connection, more respectful sharing of public space and making active transport a realistic option.

Learn to Ride a Bike in Sydney

Learning to ride as an adult or child can feel like a big step. Our private lessons provide calm, practical instruction in a suitable traffic-free environment, with bikes and helmets available. We start with balance, braking, steering, starting and stopping, then progress at a pace that suits the rider. The aim is not simply to get the pedals turning — it is to build control, confidence and the skills to continue practising safely and independently.

Active Transport Programs for Organisations

Pedal Set Go works with councils, schools, workplaces and community organisations to turn active transport goals into practical experiences for people.

We consider the skills people have, the environments they are using and what helps make safer, more considerate behaviour feel possible and worthwhile.

Programs can include bike and e-bike education, road safety, guided rides, community maintenance events, workplace riding programs and tailored activations.

Our focus is the people-facing part of active transport: helping participants develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to use bikes safely and realistically in their everyday lives.

Bike Maintenance, Road Safety & Community Education

A bike event can deliver much more than a repair or a safety message.

Our mechanics are also educators. At community and workplace events, they can help people understand their bikes, recognise safety issues, learn basic maintenance and ask questions about bike fit, e-bikes, road rules, routes, carrying options and everyday riding.

We also design practical road safety and community education programs around the needs of councils, schools, workplaces and local communities.
